Cheryl Geiser has practiced exclusively in the field of immigration and nationality law since her admission to the bar in 2001. Ms. Geiser advises individuals, domestic and international start-ups, multinational and Fortune 500 companies, institutions of higher education and others on all aspects of immigration law and compliance. Ms. Geiser’s experience includes corporate and employment based immigration, family based immigration, naturalization, and merger and acquisition immigration compliance matters.
Ms. Geiser provides strategic guidance to corporate clientele and their foreign national employees related to temporary and permanent international transfers of personnel including multinational executives and specialized knowledge employees, skilled and professional workers, professors and researchers, and entrepreneurs. Specifically, Ms. Geiser’s practice includes I-9 compliance audits; counseling with respect to mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring; corporate immigration policy; nonimmigrant petitions and visa applications (H,L,E,O,P,TN); PERM labor certifications; immigrant petitions; waivers; naturalization; and representation before various US Department of Homeland Security agencies as well as US Department of State consulates world-wide.
Ms. Geiser frequently speaks on various immigration related topics at events sponsored by professional and community based organizations. She also provides training sessions for corporate management, human resources leadership, and employees on immigration law and compliance. Ms. Geiser is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
